ABACUS-TUTORIALS AND EXERCISES

The abacus is a counting frame used during the medieval ages before the formal system

of calculations using Hindu and Arabic numerals were introduced.

Using the Abacus one can perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, division,

one can find the LCM and HCF of two numbers ,Find Square roots and perform a few other arithmetic operations.

This app supports Learning the ABACUS using Arithmetic operations. .

The APP will simulate a real world Abacus. This android app supports a graphics based Abacus tool. The user can also use a real Abacus in addition to the graphical tool enabled in the app to understand the tutorials/examples.

Tutorials are separated into Beads and Numbers, Simple Addition, Addition using complements Subtraction and Simple Multiplication

In "Beads and Numbers" The graphics based abacus tool will show the numbers when beads are moved alternately show the bead positions when numbers are set.

The Simple Additions are additions simulated without complements.

The Additions using complements are categorized into complements of each digit from 1 to 9 with respect to 10 and complements of digits from 1 to 5 with respect to 5. In both the cases, the problem set will be automatically generated. The solution steps are also automatically generated and can be viewed using forward and back tabs. During each step the instructions for the user to perform on the Abacus can be viewed below the Abacus frame where the number operations are done. Arrow marks on the Abacus frame during the transitions of the frame show the steps to solve the problem presented. Any number of problems can be generated using the reset icon. On pressing the reset icon a new problem set will be generated and shown to the user.

The app also supports tutorials on Simple Multiplication and Subtraction.

Each of the tutorials above can be generated/viewed for input numbers sizes ranging from 1 to 4 digits.

In the General Exercises section a problem which is generated automatically is presented to the user. The user can solve it using the Abacus frame shown above the problem by moving the beads one at a time. If a user wishes to move 3 beads to add the value of 3 he has to move 3 beads one at a time.

If the user solves it correctly it will be reported as 'Good Job" else it will be reported as "Wrong Answer try again".

The app does not require an Internet connection. Once downloaded it can be used any time.

L'APP simulerà un Abaco del mondo reale. Questa app Android supporta uno strumento Abacus basato sulla grafica. L'utente può anche utilizzare un vero Abacus oltre allo strumento grafico abilitato nell'app per comprendere tutorial / esempi.

I tutorial sono separati in perline e numeri, Aggiunta semplice, Aggiunta mediante sottrazione di complementi e Moltiplicazione semplice

In "Perline e numeri" Lo strumento abaco basato su grafica mostrerà i numeri quando le perline vengono spostate, alternativamente mostra le posizioni delle perline quando vengono impostati i numeri.

Le aggiunte semplici sono aggiunte simulate senza complementi.

Le aggiunte che usano i complementi sono classificate in complementi di ogni cifra da 1 a 9 rispetto a 10 e complementi di cifre da 1 a 5 rispetto a 5. In entrambi i casi, il set di problemi verrà generato automaticamente. I passaggi della soluzione vengono inoltre generati automaticamente e possono essere visualizzati utilizzando le schede Avanti e Indietro. Durante ogni passaggio le istruzioni per l'utente di eseguire su Abacus possono essere visualizzate sotto il riquadro Abacus in cui vengono eseguite le operazioni numeriche. I segni di freccia sulla cornice Abacus durante le transizioni della cornice mostrano i passaggi per risolvere il problema presentato. Qualsiasi numero di problemi può essere generato utilizzando l'icona di ripristino. Premendo l'icona di ripristino verrà generato e mostrato all'utente un nuovo set di problemi.

L'app supporta anche esercitazioni su moltiplicazione e sottrazione semplici.

Ognuno dei tutorial sopra può essere generato / visualizzato per dimensioni di numeri di input che vanno da 1 a 4 cifre.

Nella sezione Esercizi generali viene presentato all'utente un problema che viene generato automaticamente. L'utente può risolverlo usando il telaio Abacus mostrato sopra il problema spostando le perline una alla volta. Se un utente desidera spostare 3 perline per aggiungere il valore di 3, deve spostare 3 perline una alla volta.

Se l'utente lo risolve correttamente, verrà segnalato come "Buon lavoro", altrimenti verrà segnalato come "Risposta errata riprovare".

L'app non richiede una connessione a Internet. Una volta scaricato, può essere utilizzato in qualsiasi momento.
